WINTER SOLSTICE JUDGED ART SHOW ON DECEMBER 8, 2023 from 5-8:30pm

The AAI invites its artists to take part in the "Winter Solstice" judged art show. It has the optional theme of "A Winter's Tale" and we look forward to the creativity this expansive theme fosters. Any ribbon winning points will go towards the "Artist of the Year" award.  This prestigious award winner will be announced at the next Annual Member Meeting & Mingle.  As this is an "Appreciation Event", AAI will not be charging any commission on sales.

We hope you will come and celebrate with the ribbon winners as well as enjoy this members' and volunteers' appreciation dinner.  We are grateful to the Harvey House for the use of their elegant space.  The evening will include:

Pot Luck Dinner - Please bring a dish to share
Wine and other Refreshments provided
Secret Santa - bring a small gift to take part
Family & Friends Welcome
Holiday Cheer

Ribbons will be awarded in the 2D, 3D, Photography and Wearable Art Categories.  These are First, Second, Third Place, Best of Show, Best Theme and People's Choice Ribbons.

Entry to the judged show is free to members who donated to "Eye of the Artist", otherwise a Hanging Fee of $15 will be charged for each entry.  Unsold art must be collected at the close of the event on December 8th.

2D art should be no more than 24" x 30" in size.  All art must be ready for hanging.  Mountain Pottery will take in the artwork until December 5, 2023.  Mountain Pottery is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and open from Thursdays to Sundays from 11am to 5pm (call if you are unsure of opening days and times 951-659-7117). All art must have the artist name, title, category, and price of the piece.  It must be securely wrapped for transport. 

REGISTER IS ONLY REQUIRED TO ENTER THE JUDGED SHOW.  
NO REGISTRATION IS NEEDED TO ATTEND THE EVENT.
