About this event
Students will paint two or more landscape paintings at a beautiful Idyllwild location TBA. I will demo this and explain the steps of the system I use. Emphasis will be on composition, shadow patterns, contrast, perspective, color intensity, color temperature, painting alla prima (wet into wet) and creating the illusion of depth. Individual instruction and group critiques in an informal and supportive atmosphere.
Suitable Mediums: oil is my preference, but acrylic is acceptable. I will provide a materials list in advance.
Skill Levels: beginners with some painting experience, intermediate and advanced students are all welcome.
