smARTS exhibition at Middle Ridge Tasting Gallery

Since the start of Covid Pandemic the AAI, with support from the Ruth & Joseph C. Reed Foundation for the Arts, has been providing art kits to local children each Christmas to the tune of over $5,000 a year.

It has been our aim to put a smile on the faces of children, to help struggling families and to encourage an appreciation of the arts from an early age. The success of this program is such that, as the pandemic draws to an end, the giveaway will keep going and continue to bring tears of joy, smiles of excitement and a continuing love of the arts.

Idyllwild School PTA smARTS Program – AAI has granted over $16,000 to the program
over the last 4 years. Many of our artist members volunteer to help with the
program which provides over 300 lessons each school year to K-8 students.
We also fully fund and manage the 8th grade Legacy Tile Project which has
produced a mural every year for the last 22 years
