Join us for the annual Here & Now Judged Art Show on Saturday, September 5th 2026, from 11 AM to 5 PM at the new Idyllwild Community Center, located just outside the Children’s Park at 54195 Ridgeview Drive, Idyllwild, CA.
This exciting event features a diverse range of artwork in categories including 2D, 3D, Photography, Wearable Art and the newest category Digital Art. Ribbons will be awarded for First, Second, and Third Place in each category, along with Honorable Mentions at the judge’s discretion. Artists will also compete for the coveted Best of Show ribbon. Visitors are encouraged to vote for their favorite pieces to award the People’s Choice ribbon.
This is the 2nd judged art show of the year, and we encourage all participating artists to create new work especially for this event.
Please note that if you did not donate to the Summer Kick Off show, then a $10 hanging fee per entry will be payable upon delivery of your art. Your piece is due no later than August 29th. You may drop off your work at Mountain Pottery; they are closed Tues/Wednesdays. Hours 11-5 pm. Be sure your artwork is properly packaged for transport and clearly labeled with your name and the title of your piece.
Maximum size of 2D - 20x30 inches
Maximum weight of 3D - 30 pounds (unless you do the moving)
After the show ends we would appreciate you picking up your unsold pieces or make arrangements.
Artwork will be available for purchase throughout the day. The Art Alliance receives 20% commission; artists will receive a check in the mail at the end of the month; please check your mailing address on file is correct.
Refreshments, including wine, beer, water, and soft drinks, will be available for sale. Live music will accompany the event, creating the perfect atmosphere to enjoy and celebrate the talent of our local artists.
