AAI Funky Bizarre Holiday Show

Open to current members of Art Alliance of Idyllwild.  Each member may submit as many pieces as they like, only 2 pieces will be accepted into this show.  The accepted art must be left in the gallery for the duration of the show or until it sells, whichever comes first.  Art must be picked up within 5 days of the end of this show.  We do not have room to store art and will consider it a donation to the local Help Center.  Not all pieces will be accepted into this curated show due to our small space in Funky Bizarre.  Fees must be charged to allow for our costs but these fees will be kept low and reasonable for our members.  All pieces must be for sale.

Wall Art, Framed Photographs, 3D Pieces and Wearable Art

  • Entry fee for this exhibit is $30 for 2 items, additional items are $10 per item

  •  All hanging works must be properly hung with D-rings and a wire

  • All wearable art must also have a proper display rack or hanger or it will be placed on a table.

  • This category is limited to 3 items per artist.

Curio Cabinet

There are 6 spaces on shelves in the cabinet that will be rented out on a show by show basis.

Each artist will be responsible for the placement of their items on their rented space and will keep up the inventory as sales are made.  

  • The cost of renting these spaces is $60 for this time period

  • Shelves will be on a first come, first served basis.

Additional fees are commissions on sales:

  • 15% Commission to Funky Bizarre

  • 15% Commission to AAI

Artists will be sent checks issued from AAI at the end of each month.  Please be sure to include your correct mailing address in your submission, along with Title, Media, Price and a short Artist Bio that we will place in our Meet our Artist Book.

Remember, this show is a Holiday theme and a good time for Christmas shopping in Idyllwild!

We will have a Christmas tree for hanging smaller items such as ornaments.  There will be no limit for these smaller items.

This space is our new gallery and we look forward to seeing it filled with beautiful pieces from our wonderful members!  Please sign up online on our website as soon as possible to help us begin this new journey together!
