Welcome to the Art Alliance of Idyllwild (AAI)
In the late 1990’s local gallery owners Chris Trout and Grace Songolo set out to make Idyllwild, California known as an art town and a destination for cultural tourists.
Although the world renown Idyllwild Academy of Arts had been established in Idyllwild for many years there were no local organizations to support the arts.
They founded the AAI and it has since been at the center of artistic excellence in the local area and was instrumental in Idyllwild CA being named as one of the top 100 art towns in America.

The AAI supports the arts and artists in the greater Idyllwild area. We welcome art galleries, artists of all ages and abilities and anyone - artist or not - who wants to support the arts in our community. Check out memberships by clicking on the link in the menu above.
