Welcome to the Art Alliance of Idyllwild (AAI)

In the late 1990’s local gallery owners Chris Trout and Grace Songolo set out to make Idyllwild, California known as an art town and a destination for cultural tourists.
Although the world renown Idyllwild Academy of Arts had been established for many years there were no local organizations to support the arts.
They founded the AAI and it has since been the center of artistic excellence in the area, it was instrumental in Idyllwild being named as one of Amrerica's top 100 art towns.
